Davius' Commandments
Davius' Ten Commandments of CAV Systems are introduced below. They will appear on various pages of this website.
1) Build roads from where travelers (Roman armies) are to where they need to go (unconquered villages and farms).
2) Preserve precious right-of-way (hard-won for freeways).
3) Render unto Davius ...
4) Think inside the box, system engineering.
5) Give CAVs and CAVWAYs complementary duties to make CAVs' lives less complex.
6) Exclude human drivers and observe common CAV protocols so that CAV Systems may grant us safety.
7) On a Tour de France, observe common protocols and the peloton to achieve efficiency.
8) Use isolation and autonomy to buy security.
9) Make CAV Systems sustainable so that they may endure.
10) Decide where you're going; then start transition.
